Gothic Scourge

Methodology and Theory in Practice

You want to train for a rotation or deployment and don’t know where to start? You want to lift heavy and run long without burning out every week? Don’t think being a “hybrid athlete” is possible without performance enhancing drugs?

Whether you are sitting on your couch reading this or overseas on an outpost, this can become valuable information to even the most average person building up to become a top dog warrior

Let me introduce you to a methodology that can help you out with that:

Gothic Scourge

Here are some theories in practice (Physical Fitness)
• Zone 2 cardio & hill sprints make up all cardio
• Unilateral exercises are key to lasting through “the suck”
• Know when to %. Maxing out isn’t everything
• It’s okay to not focus on the big 3: Squat, Bench, Deadlift
• Keep it simple. You don’t need to go overboard with advanced techniques. Start from the most basic exercises and go from there.
• Use the rower for conditioning. Any other conditioning should be carries.
• Build your core all around. Not just sit ups and crunches.
• Weekends are for rest, not extra work
